Day 1 :Arrival in Chongqing ( L ) Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Chongqing Airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 2 : Chongqing - Dazu - Chongqing ( B +L ) This morning, take you to Duzu and have a whole day tour to Baoding Carvings, the noted Grotto Art in Dazu County. Transfer back to Chonqqing and relax for the rest of the day. Dazu - Dazu County was first established in 758 in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Situated to the west of the Chongqing downtown, it's famed as the hometown of Chinese rock carvings. In the county, you can see Dazu Rock Carvings. Dealing with the Buddhism art, the rock carvings were made in the late Tang Dynasty (around 907) and the early Song Dynasty (around 960). Among those, the carvings on the Bei Mountain (Bei Shan) and Baoding Mountain (Baoding Shan) are particularly popular. On December 1st, 1999, the Dazu Rock Carvings was put into the list of the World Cultural Heritage.
Ciqikou Village - Ciqikou is an ancient town near to the downtown of Chongqing. The old streets there were all paved by top-grade stone tablets. The oldest stone in Ciqikou has a history of about one thousand years. On the both sides of the street stand antique houses and shops. The shops sell various artworks like embroidery, Chinese calligraphy and paintings. Day 3 : Dazu - Leshan - Mt. Emei ( B+L+D ) Leshan Statue of Buddha - The Grand Buddha is famous at home and abroad. The sitting Buddha statue was carved on the cliff located at the junction of the Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River. The statue was carved in 713 during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (618-907). 90 years later, the huge project was finished in 803. On December 6th, 1996, the Grand Buddha was appraised to be the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO Mt. Emei - The Emei Mountain Scenic Area occupies an area of about 154 square kilometers, including Da Emei, Er Emei, San Emei and Si Emei mountains. The Da Emei Mountain is the main peak of the Emei Mountain. The Emei Mountain we often talk about is actually the Da Emei. Da Emei faces Er Emei. Seeing them at a distance, you will find the two peaks look like two eye brows in the thin fog.
Day 4 : Mt. Emei--Chengdu ( B+L+D )
Baoguo Temple - Baoguo Temple is the first temple on the Mt. Emei, which is the center of Buddhist activities on the mountain. The temple is surrounded by red wall as well as many big trees. The architecture seems quite grand. Many people come here to worship the Buddha.
Wannian Temple - Wannian Temple is another renowned temple on the Emei Mountain. It's the largest temple on the mountain. The landscape around the Wannian Temple is very picturesque, especially in the fall. Leaves are turning red, moving in the wind. Their reflection is shown on the surface of the White Water Pond. The nearby villages are so peaceful.
Day 5 : Chengdu - Wolong/Bifengxia - Chengdu ( B+L+D )
As the Wolong Panda Reserve was destroyed by the earthquake and will be under construction in the coming two years, the Pandas as well the breeding stuff are immigrated to the Bifengxia Natural Reserve. Now it is the largest Panda reserve centre in the world with hi-tech equipments and more desirable environment. Now there are more than 60 pandas in the reserve centre.

Day 6 : Chengdu & Departure ( B )
Visit the Tomb of Wang Jian. Then our guide and driver will see you off at the airport . Hope next time we still have the chance to serve you again.(B)
